Based on the title, I may sound like I am contradicting myself since I just said in the last entry, that for me, denial was no more an option than was confirmation bias. So let me explain. By now, if you have been reading the entries in order, you know why I like to reference the Scripture, To everything there is a season. And of course, everything includes denial. And much of Abraham Hicks’ teachings, including those in the video below, could be interpreted as such. But really, they are more about ignoring out of existence an unwanted reality.
That said, I tried to ignore the antics of the MIMIC-OPPS. But eventually, I had to accept that I was no longer in a season of looking away by turning the other cheek. So, I spent months intentionally acknowledging my unwanted reality. I gave up the struggle over my fear of making a wrong decision by choosing to purposefully water a weed (the unwanted reality) with my attention. Besides, Abraham teaches that any decision is the right decision if only the decider lines up with it.
So now, it is time to create a new reality through a new story based on delusions.
I’m lining up with that decision too. I’m doing it gradually through bridge building. With each new plank, I am that much closer to reaching the reality in which I want to be. See, I decided that if Hiroo Onondaga could master confirmation bias from a negative standpoint and live in a very real but false reality, then so could I. The difference is that I’m gradually creating one that is for me rather than against me. Gradually is the key word here. In the videos above and below, Abraham Hicks and Dr. Maya explain their delusional creating methods.
Dr. Maya says she chooses to believe that she is protected no matter what. Abraham would say we don’t need to focus on protection because by default, our focus will also be on the unwanted, that from which we need protecting. And the energy of focus is like water to the unwanted weed. Bridge building says, until I can create a reality with only or mostly allies, I’m going to create one with protection. And that’s what I mean when I say each plank I lay gets me that much closer to where I want to be. So let me lay an astrological plank now.
Have You Heard of Profection Years, a Concept Within Astrology?
I looked up the word, profection. Wiktionary defines it as, “going forward; advance; progression.” This year is a 12th house profection year for me. Now if you read previous entries, you may remember that my natal Mars and Mercury are in the 12th house. And my sun is in Pisces which rules the 12th house. Okay, but what does the 12th house and its profection years have to do with using delusion to create a new reality?
Pseudoscience, which is at least as valid as the placebo effect, says that telling a new story creates in part, that new reality.
And the 12th house, you see, is home to not only illusions but also delusions. So those with heavy Pisces and/or 12th house placements may create by default through delusion. Of course there are a myriad of other 12th house attributes which I’ll talk about in the next entry. For now though, during this, my year of 12th house growth, I’m focused on creating. The video below is by @richieclide who does an amazing job of explaining the delusional Pisces creator.
I Think of Delusions as Dreams That Come True & Illusions as Realities Found to be False.
I remember watching, for the first time, the movie, A Little Princess. I was eighteen and in Bible College. I had seen very little television or movies up to that point. It instantly became my favorite movie. Although back then I couldn’t have articulated why, I related to it so hard because, in my opinion, the plot is very Pisces in nature. The trailer which I posted below, summarizes my point. The magnificent girls school turns out to be just an illusion. However, the princess practices the art of delusion to turn it all around.
