The rest of the morning, I contemplated the question from my dream. What do you want your gift to be? I considered a variety of answers including freedom, fearlessness, courage, resources and wealth. As children, I think we have all wished for endless wishes when asked for what we would wish if we could only wish once. And so I thought maybe I would like for my gift to be endless gifts.
Initially, I wasn’t satisfied with that answer because I felt like Owen was looking for something more complex. One thought led to another until something clicked. If I could balance my 2 and my 8, I would be able to receive all of the gifts for which I could ever wish because all of them have already been given to me. And besides, I’m supposed to have the wealth of a royal. It’s my birthright. Why? Well, 28 is the number of wealth. Before I break it down further, listen to this numerologist in the below video.

I was born on the 28th.
I see #28 as purple, the color of royalty. In astrology, my 2 holds a lot of red while my 8 holds a lot of blue. Together, they make purple. In my 2nd house, are my South Node, Venus and Chiron, all of which are in red hot Aries. My 8th house contains my Uranus and Part of Fortune, both of which are in watery blue Scorpio. Also in my 8th house, are my North Node and Pluto, both of which are in Libra, the chameleon. I already wrote about how I matched my rainbow aura photo to my natal chart. And I said this.
My red signifies works while my blue represents faith. My purple stands for gifts waiting to be received.
But 28 isnt just my gift, it is my wound, See, my 2nd and 8th houses are in an aspect of opposition. They were also this way in my life as Jessie. It seems I am destined to experience the contrast between the two. And in that experience, I must allow the tension between them to be calibrated so that I can gain and maintain the balance that will yield the color purple. It was well after my final Ayahuasca ceremony that I began to really understand this.
While under the influence of the medicine that last time, I heard a voice from the other side respond to my anxiety and discomfort. “Don’t worry,” he said. “We’re just calibrating you.” A gazillion times since then, I’ve contemplated what that meant. Calibrated for what? And then one day it just came to me after I was listening to something on YouTube or maybe TikTok about how tension is a force that is necessary to keep our bodies upright. Tension, opposition, is a good thing when it’s calibrated correctly.
But let me pause and go back to #28. I already wrote about what happened to me at age 28 and how that aligned with my 28 degree Chiron. By the way, Jessie’s Chiron was also at 28 degrees. Additionally, my ascendant is at 28 degrees and my Mercury is at 27 degrees. In the below TikTok, Candice makes some interesting observations about the 27th 28th & 29th degrees.

If you are interested in your own natal chart, I hope this partial breakdown of mine inspires you to study yours. And if you were born on the 28th, maybe this numerology/astrology theology will help you believe you were meant to be wealthy. If you weren’t born on the 28th and you want to believe you were meant to be wealthy, don’t worry! There are so many other established truths from which you can pick and choose that will help support your desired belief.
P.S. Before I finished writing about this question from my dream, I got on Facebook and up popped this memory. Thirteen years ago, on this day, the 8th of May, look what I posted. Is it a coincidence? Is it a sign or an omen? Is it a token from God, Unconditional Love? It’s literally saying, “What do you want your gift to be? Take it!”
