Before I get into the aura rebirth or regeneration process, let me address the question asked in the title. I will use Joseph’s stolen coat as an example. W. J. Colville makes an interesting observation about Joseph’s rainbow aura, which he says, is the same thing as his coat of many colors. Specifically, Colville is referring to the part of the Bible story which states it was given to him by his father. Colville says, “In the order of spiritual development no one can truly give anything to another, because each individual must earn his raiment for himself.”
He also teaches that one’s aura is something “which one can carry about everywhere, (since it) is generated from within rather than accreted from without.” Thus, he theorizes that Israel, formerly called Jacob, may have simply acknowledged his son’s aura rather than actually giving it to him. I’ll propose another idea. Perhaps Israel poured into his son the components which were most conducive to the development of a rainbow aura. And in that way, maybe he gave Joseph the fabric with which to make his own coat.
So what about Joseph’s brothers who stole his coat before they threw him into the pit? Could they swap destinies or auras with him just by putting on his destiny coat? Could they wear it? Would it even fit them? No, just like Joseph’s coat didn’t fit his brothers, mine doesn’t fit any of my oppressors. So, if it can’t be worn by another, why steal it? The answer goes back to a mentality I discussed in a previous entry, where I quoted author, Mariah Perry, who says,
“If I can’t have it, neither can you.”
She continues, “When dealing with an envious individual who sees themselves as inferior to you, you must always be cautious when dealing with this person because they are one of the opponents who are capable of outthinking and outsmarting the majority of their targets. Since this person acknowledges they will not be able to beat you in the area they are envious of you in, what they will do is use others as a pawn to play into your demise or even influence you to partake in your own downfall.”
She continues, “The purpose is to either replace you with themselves, or, if they have assessed that may not be possible, they will simply invest in your demise.” Yes, haters will invest in your demise. And to the degree that we allow exterior circumstances to affect us, (such as being thrown in a pit) is to the same measure that our aura can be stolen. Usually, it’s taken bit by bit through a process of destruction. And since our aura is a magnet to our destiny, or birthright, to steal from one is to steal from the other.
So what does it mean when it very much looks like someone was successful in not just stealing, but actually swapping your destiny?
Let me tell you about my mom and the woman who tried to be her friend. Eventually, that woman ended up marrying my father, my mom’s husband, who was the pastor of our church. My mom went through hell. Without a doubt, her aura had been ransacked, and her husband, in her opinion, had been stolen from her. Seemingly, she had also been robbed of her destiny. It took awhile, but eventually, she regenerated her bright aura. In the end, her true destiny was not to grow old with my father. Rather, she had a whole different life awaiting her. Like the video below says,
“What is meant for you will find its way to you.”
Refresh page if video screen above appears blank. Sometimes, you have to do it twice.
I suspect that the woman who seemingly replaced my mom in her role, wanted the clout that many women think comes with being a pastor’s wife. But at the end of the day, she could never be the pastor’s wife that my mom was. I think people who were seemingly successful in this type of mission, are like a knock off of a name brand bag. What I’m not saying, is that this is true of all people who replace the original wife, husband, CEO, politician, etc. I’m talking specifically about those who set out to become somebody else, in hopes of acquiring their destiny.
So what is the final answer to the question asked in this blog title above? Can my aura, which determines my destiny, be stolen? Yes, unless it’s impenetrable, it can be stolen through the destruction that follows infiltration. Can it be swapped? The answer is both yes and no. For example, If my mom had never found the courage and strength to rebuild her aura, she would have never felt the magnetic pull towards her true destiny. And in that case, she could’ve easily given up, believing that her life had been stolen from her. But she traded up, instead.
On a side note, I find it interesting that the peak of my mom’s aura destruction came right around the time of her Chiron return. Life was very hard for her back then. Of course, she didn’t and still doesn’t know anything about astrology. Also, I bet Joseph was thrown into the pit right around his Saturn return. Clearly, I like to speculate. Of course, I could apply Scripture here, instead of astrology, because both my mother and Joseph found themselves in a season of destruction and loss. And nothing is more applicable to their stories than Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down, and time to build up: A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose: A time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; A time of war, and a time of peace.
Sometimes, the only way we can move forwards is through loss, even if it transpired via theft, orchestrated by an envious wannabe. Sometimes we can’t shed what no longer serves us without a little push from our haters. Is that dark alchemy? Either way, I try to be more like the snake who willingly sheds his dead skin to make room for the birth of the new. After all, I was born in a snake year according to the Chinese zodiac. Often, though, the process is more volatile, like the phoenix who rises anew out of the great fire which burned up everything they once were.
