I never said how I ended up with a rainbow aura in the first place. I’m talking about the stolen one. I mean, yes, in previous entries, I attributed each color to a placement within my astrological natal chart. But I didn’t tell the story of how it all came together. It goes something like this. Like the sign of Libra, the planet Uranus, my natal chart co-ruler, gets a little extra credit for its role in the formation of my rainbow aura. In its quest for freedom, Uranus, which resides in my 8th house, and in the watery sign of Scorpio, facilitated sudden storms of chaos and change.
Then Pluto, also an 8th house resident, used the lightening storm to burn everything to the ground.
It was a tower moment that preceded the rebuild. Next, Uranus the Alchemist asked, “What can I make that represents the freedom that came from all this destruction?” Libra, the sign next door, who overheard the question, took out its birthstone, the opal, and showed it to Uranus. “I am known for balance and harmony,” Libra said as it slowly oscillated the gem revealing its many colors. “And isn’t that what freedom is?” Libra asked.

“The recipe for a rainbow includes rain. And the sudden watery storms which you facilitated, have already produced that ingredient. The other chart placements, our neighbors, have the remaining components.” Libra continued, “And with the contribution of balance and harmony from the planets which reside in my sign, together we can manifest a rainbow.” Libra raised the opal again, and this time, Uranus, who sits at the top of my grand water trine, could see its glinting rainbow. Thus, they agreed.
